Rand supports the IMPACT project with the focus on climate change adaptation in the Caribbean and the Pacific Small Islands Developing States (SIDS). She first joined Climate Analytics in 2018 as a member of the EmBARK project by writing her master thesis on institutional barriers to climate change adaptation faced by SIDS in the Caribbean region.
Prior to joining Climate Analytics, she worked with the Gesellschaft für International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Grenada W.I on climate change adaptation strategies and on water-related projects in Jordan. She has also worked at the German Jordan University (GJU) in the faculty of applied natural sciences.
Rand holds a B.Sc degree in Water and Environmental Engineering from the GJU and M.Sc degree in Integrated Natural Resources Management (INRM) from the Humboldt University of Berlin.
