Eriko Shrestha is an Implementation Specialist based at our New York office. She is currently focusing on providing technical assistance to Nepal and small island developing states (SIDS) in the Caribbean under the IMPACT project, through the NDC Partnership’s Climate Action Enhancement Package (CAEP). Eriko also supports the rest of Climate Analytics’ Implementation Strategies team with adaptation and mitigation implementation projects and capacity building in vulnerable countries.
Before joining Climate Analytics, Eriko interned at the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Sciences and Technology assessing Kathmandu, Nepal’s solid waste management system using the Wasteaware benchmarking indicators. She worked with Doko Recyclers in Kathmandu and co-founded an electronic waste recycling network through which she gained grassroots organising, grant writing and project management experience. She was also a Research Assistant at Swarthmore College, analysing China’s political involvement and economic investments in the Arctic region.
She graduated from Swarthmore College, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Political Science.
